Description
This 12V DC linear actuator provides robust push and pull movement with a 100mm stroke length and up to 1200N (122kg) load capacity. Powered by a quiet DC motor and internal screw drive, it is ideal for makers, hobbyists, and students designing automated lifting and positioning systems.
High force and self-locking
The actuator delivers up to 1200N of force at a steady travel speed of 12mm/s. When power is removed, the built-in screw drive provides a self-locking function to securely hold position under load without idling.
Integrated limit switches
Built-in travel limit switches automatically disconnect power when the push rod reaches the top or bottom of its stroke to protect the motor. Motion direction is easily controlled by reversing the polarity across the motor terminals.
Typical applications
Suitable for a broad range of motion automation projects, including solar tracking systems, adjustable workstations, robotic arms, ventilation mechanisms, and lifting platforms.
Mounting and dimensions
Constructed from aluminium alloy with an operating noise level below 55dB. The retracted centre-to-centre mounting distance measures 205mm and operates across temperatures from -40°C to +65°C.
