The Keyestudio Xbee Sensor Expansion Shield V5 is a versatile expansion board designed to simplify the process of connecting sensors and modules to your Arduino. Ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists building robot cars or interactive projects, it eliminates the complexity of manual circuit wiring.

Simplified sensor connection

Connecting circuits to an Arduino can be challenging for those new to electronics. This expansion shield makes it easy to plug in and connect most sensors directly to your controller board.

Expanded digital and analog pins

The shield breaks out 14 digital pins, including 12 dedicated for servo motors, alongside 6 analog pins. All of these breakouts include integrated power supply pins for easy wiring.

Smart power management

Features an external power supply port for digital pins and an additional external power port with power input pins. The board automatically switches between the external power supply and the on-board power supply.

Wireless data transmission interfaces

Equipped with dedicated interfaces for Xbee or Bluetooth Bee modules, as well as APC220 and Bluetooth V3 wireless data transmission. This allows you to easily add wireless control to your Arduino robot car.

RS485 and I2C communication

The board includes an RS485 interface for robust industrial communication alongside an IIC/I2C/TW interface. This makes it highly compatible with a wide range of daisy-chained sensors and industrial peripherals.

Storage expansion and reset control

It features an onboard SD card module interface for data logging applications, a 3.3V output pin, and an easily accessible reset button to reboot your controller.
