Description
The Keyestudio Raspberry Pi Pico 3 in 1 Beetlebot Robot Car is a versatile STEM educational DIY kit designed for students, educators, and hobbyists. Powered by the Raspberry Pi Pico, this kit offers an accessible, low-cost platform to learn robotics, coding, and electronics. It is fully compatible with LEGO building blocks, allowing users to easily customise and expand their creations.
Three versatile robot configurations
The Beetlebot can be assembled into three distinct forms: a soccer robot, a siege robot, or a handling robot. This versatility allows students and hobbyists to explore different mechanical designs and applications.

LEGO compatibility for creative building
Designed to be fully compatible with LEGO building blocks, this kit allows beginners to expand and customise their robot. Users can easily integrate their own blocks to build unique structures and custom designs.

Smart navigation and sensing capabilities
The robot is equipped to automatically dodge obstacles, follow black lines, and track light sources. These features provide a practical introduction to sensor integration and autonomous navigation.

Integrated motor driver and sensors
To simplify assembly, the Beetlebot integrates a dual H-bridge motor driver and multiple onboard sensors directly onto the platform. This design reduces complex wiring, making it highly accessible for beginners.

Powered by Raspberry Pi Pico
Utilising the Raspberry Pi Pico as its control core, this kit offers a low-cost entry point into open-source programming. It is an ideal platform for learning microcontrollers, coding, and electronics.

Dual H-bridge motor performance
The drive system features a dual H-bridge configuration driving motors at 5V and 200 rpm. This provides reliable speed and directional control for all three robot forms.

Ultrasonic and infrared detection range
The kit includes an ultrasonic sensor capable of detecting obstacles from 2cm to 400cm away. It also features an infrared control receiver with a measured range of approximately 7 metres.

Technical specifications and power requirements
Operating at a working voltage of 5V, the board accepts an input voltage of 2.5V to 4.2V from a lithium battery. It supports a maximum output current of 3A and has a maximum power consumption of 15W at 80 degrees Celsius.
