Description
The Keyestudio Micro:bit Mini Smart Turtle Robot Car is an educational, hands-on robotics kit designed for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to explore STEM. This compact, versatile vehicle integrates essential sensors and actuators, making it an excellent platform for learning to code with MakeCode or MicroPython.
Dual programming environment support
Users can program the robot car using MakeCode's block-based interface or transition to MicroPython for clean, simple Python code. This eliminates the need for complex, low-level C or C++ programming while teaching real-world coding concepts.

Built-in obstacle avoidance and tracking
The smart car features integrated line tracking and obstacle avoidance sensors, allowing it to navigate environments autonomously. It can also be controlled remotely via infrared and Bluetooth signals.

Durable acrylic chassis and geared motors
Built on a sturdy acrylic board structure, the robot is driven by DC geared motors and high-traction wheels. The motors operate at a speed of 100 RPM to ensure stable, controlled movement.

Customisable RGB lights and buzzer
The platform includes a passive buzzer capable of playing music, alongside four WS2812 RGB LEDs and two additional RGB lights. These components allow students to program custom light patterns and audio alerts.

Power and voltage requirements
The drive board operates at a system voltage of 5V, with a connector port that accepts a DC input of 6V to 9V. It has a standard operating power consumption of approximately 2.2W and a maximum output power of 12W.

Compact and safe design
Measuring 120mm by 120mm by 120mm, this compact robot car is easy to store and operate in classroom environments. It is ROHS compliant and rated to operate safely within a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
