Description
The ESP32-C3 SuperMini V2 is an ultra-compact development board powered by a 32-bit RISC-V microcontroller with integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 LE. Featuring a native USB Type-C interface and breadboard-friendly dimensions, it makes wireless embedded development straightforward and accessible. It is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers creating smart home devices, wireless sensors, and portable electronics.
Key features
Equipped with the Espressif ESP32-C3FH4 single-core RISC-V processor running at up to 160 MHz, this board features 4MB of onboard flash memory alongside integrated Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5.0 LE. It also includes hardware security features such as Secure Boot, Flash Encryption, and cryptographic acceleration.
Native USB-C connectivity
The upgraded V2 layout includes a native USB Type-C socket supporting CDC, DFU, and USB HID modes. This allows direct programming, debugging, and USB peripheral emulation without the need for external USB-to-serial chips.
Form factor and antenna options
Measuring just 18 mm by 22.52 mm with a standard 2.54 mm pitch, the module fits standard breadboards effortlessly. Wireless transmission is handled by an onboard antenna, with an optional IPEX MHF-I connector available by soldering a 0-ohm 0805 SMD resistor.
Software and peripheral support
Fully compatible with Arduino, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython, the board provides access to UART, I2C, I2S, SPI, PWM, and ADC channels across its configurable GPIO pins. It also features onboard power, GPIO8, and RGB indication LEDs.
