Description
The ESP32-C3 SuperMini Expansion Board breaks out key I/O pins and peripheral interfaces to streamline embedded prototyping. It includes onboard 3.7V lithium battery management with USB charging, making wire-free portable designs simple to assemble. This breakout is ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists building compact IoT devices.
Seamless breakout and peripheral access
The expansion board breaks out GPIO, I2C, SPI, and UART lines to standard 2.54mm pitch headers. Clearly labelled pinouts simplify connecting external sensors, actuators, and displays without complicated breadboard wiring.
Integrated lithium battery charging
Equipped with a 2-pin PH2.0 connector, the board supports 3.7V lithium-ion polymer batteries and charges them directly via USB. An onboard green indicator LED stays on during active charging and turns off when the battery reaches full charge.
Configurable dual power rails
The board features dual voltage breakout pins labelled VCC1 and VCC2, which deliver 3.3V by default. Users can reroute either output to 3.7V battery power by removing the default 0-ohm resistor and bridging the solder jumper pads.
Compact and versatile form factor
Designed specifically for the ESP32-C3 SuperMini, the board features 15.24mm female header row spacing and integrated mounting holes. Its small profile makes it suitable for custom enclosures and space-constrained smart electronics.
