The 7204 Series Planetary Gear Motors have all the benefits of the 5203s with one obvious difference, an 80mm long output shaft. The longer shaft is able to reach through the channel and enough past the far side to fasten a hub and a wheel to, negating the need for a coupler and an additional shaft.The 7204 Series Planetary Gear Motors are the solution for smooth, efficient and robust power for your project. This series of Planetary Gear Motors features the primary shaft profile of the Sheen Robotics build system - 8mm REX. This already strong shaft goes up to a 9mm diameter inside the head with dual ball-bearing support. The 36mm diameter gearbox contains all steel gears which are larger than those in the 5202 Series. The screws which mount the gearbox are larger in diameter and come in from the sides. This helps make them ultra-resistant to loosening over time. Though the gearbox itself is larger, the shape of the head has been designed to allow more room for nearby components.
