This part is NOT legal for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) or FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). It is sold for training, practice, prototyping and general robotics use only. Do not build it into a robot you intend to compete with.
The 7202 Series Planetary Gear Motors are the solution for smooth, efficient and robust power for your project. M4 mounting holes on the Sheen Robotics pattern offer a quick and convenient way to integrate with other Sheen Robotics components. The 6mm D-shaft is supported by dual ball bearings to handle immense torque loads and increase efficiency. The relative quadrature encoder is able to run on both 3.3V and 5V. The 36mm diameter gearbox contains all steel larger gears . The screws which mount the gearbox are larger in diameter and come in from the sides. This helps make them ultra-resistant to loosening over time. Though the gearbox itself is larger, the shape of the head has been designed to allow more room for nearby components.
