Legal for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Eligibility is set by each season's game manual — check the current rules before you compete.
The smallest of the stainless steel threaded plates; the M4 square nut has large flat sides making it easy to grip them with a wrench or pair of pliers. In certain applications the larger clearance diameter will cause these nuts to contact an adjacent wall so that no tool is needed to hold it in place while tightening and loosening.
