Try our coding platforms
From Scratch and our own block editor to real Python: see how children move from dragging blocks to typing code.
The course behind it →Drones & flight
Watch drones fly through the gates of our indoor arena and try the controls on the flight simulator. Drones run as our Sky Ops holiday camp, and a weekly module is on the way.
3D design & printing
See a design on the screen become a real object on our 3D printers, in the makers’ lab where students build their own gadgets.
Laser cutting & engraving
Watch our laser engraver cut and mark wood and acrylic, in a live demonstration run by our team.
IoT & smart devices
Wire up sensors and control them from a phone with our sheenbot boards, the heart of our IoT course.

- Saturday, 3 October 2026, 10:00–13:00 or 15:00–17:00. Drop in any time during either session; there is no need to arrive at the start.
- Cost
- Free. Nothing to pay and nothing to book.
- Who it’s for
- Families with children aged 6 to 18, and anyone curious about coding and robotics. Children stay with their parent or guardian: it is an open day, not a drop-off.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book?
No. Walk in any time during either session, 10:00–13:00 or 15:00–17:00. There is nothing to fill in beforehand.
Does it cost anything?
No. The Open Day is free for the whole family.
Which session should we come to?
Whichever suits you. Both are open to everyone, and you can stay as long as you like.
How old should my child be?
Our classes are for ages 6 to 18, and the activities are set up for that range. Children stay with their parent or guardian throughout.
Can we sign up on the day?
Yes. Our team can talk you through weekly classes, holiday camps and competition teams, and book your child a free trial class there and then.
We can’t make it. What else can we do?
Visit us any week instead: book a free trial class for your child, or an academy visit to look around and talk to our team. Both are free.
