Description
This capacitive touch switch module uses the Tontek TTP223B detector IC to provide reliable touch-activated switching. Touching the sensor toggles the signal output state repeatedly between high and low, accompanied by onboard indicator lighting. It is an easy-to-use digital input module suited to students, hobbyists, and maker electronics projects.
Toggle touch operation
The sensor acts as a toggle switch where an initial touch sets the signal pin high and a subsequent touch sets it low. Integrated indicator lights visually reflect the state changes.
Simple three-pin interface
Connections are made using three standard pins labelled G for ground, V for VCC power, and S for signal output. The module operates with a power supply range between 2.0V and 5.5V.
Compact and responsive design
With a small footprint of 24x24x7.2mm, the module delivers a fast response time of 60ms in touch mode and 220ms in low power mode with a low 5mA operating current.
