This timing belt idler increases the possibilities of a 2mm wide GT2 belt drive assembly by providing a way to change the tension and trajectory of a belt. Its shield ensures that a belt remains in place even if it slackens, while its bearings provide a smooth surface for either the toothed or smooth side of a 6mm wide belt to run with ease.
