SW-420 Digital Vibration Sensor Module with LM393

The SW-420 digital vibration sensor module detects environmental shock and vibrations using a normally closed switch and an onboard LM393 comparator. When idle, the circuit remains closed with a low output and green indicator active, driving high when motion or impact momentarily breaks the contact. It is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building interactive security alarms and robotics projects.

Reliable vibration detection

Featuring a normally closed SW-420 switch, the module outputs a low digital signal while stationary with its green signal LED illuminated. Any vibration momentarily breaks the circuit, driving the output high and turning the LED off to alert the connected controller.

Clean comparator output

An integrated wide-voltage LM393 comparator delivers a clean digital waveform with strong driving capability exceeding 15mA. It operates across a 3.3V to 5V supply range for direct interfacing with microcontrollers.

Compact design and installation

The compact 3.2 x 1.4cm board features pre-drilled mounting holes for easy installation onto chassis or enclosures. Take care when wiring, as reversing the power input direction can damage the onboard chip.
