Description
The Pycom Pytrack is a multi-constellation GNSS sensor shield designed for use with Pycom multi-network development modules. It equips your IoT projects with accurate location tracking, motion sensing, battery management, and external data storage. Ideal for makers, students, and developers creating connected tracking and telemetry applications.
Location and motion tracking
The shield provides high-accuracy GNSS positioning with support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS location services. It also integrates an onboard 3-axis 12-bit accelerometer to monitor movement and orientation.
Power management and storage
Designed for portable IoT deployments, the board features an integrated LiPo battery charger and ultra-low power consumption of approximately 1uA in deep sleep. A microSD card slot is included for local data logging.
Connectivity and cloud support
A USB port provides convenient serial access for programming and communication. The shield can be integrated with the Pybytes cloud platform to collect, organise, and visualise project data.
Hardware compatibility
The Pytrack shield is designed for use across Pycom multi-network modules. Please note that core development modules such as the LoPy are sold separately.
