Description
The Pycom Pysense is a multi-sensor expansion board designed to fit all Pycom multi-network development modules. Equipped with environmental and motion sensing capabilities, it provides an out-of-the-box hardware solution for rapid IoT development. It is well suited to students, makers, and engineers developing low-power connected projects.
Comprehensive onboard sensors
The board integrates an ambient light sensor, barometric pressure sensor, humidity sensor, temperature sensor, and a 3-axis 12-bit accelerometer for versatile environmental and motion tracking.
Power management and connectivity
Featuring a USB port with serial access and an integrated LiPo battery charger, the shield supports ultra-low-power operation with a deep sleep draw of approximately 1uA.
Storage and cloud readiness
The shield includes a microSD card slot for local data logging and integrates directly with the Pybytes platform for cloud-based data management and visualisation.
Module compatibility
Designed to fit all Pycom development boards. Please note that Pycom processing modules, such as the WiPy, are not included.
