PIR Motion Sensor Switch Module, 5–24V DC, 6A

This PIR motion sensor switch enables automatic, non-contact power switching for a wide variety of electronics and DC-powered appliances. It detects motion using passive infrared sensing to activate connected loads reliably without physical contact. It is ideal for makers, hobbyists and students building automated lighting or gesture-activated projects.

Hands-free motion detection

The module uses infrared motion detection to trigger connected circuits without physical contact switches. With an induction range of up to 8 metres, it provides reliable non-contact switching for automated installations.

Flexible power and high current output

Operating across a wide 5 to 24V DC input and output range, the switch supports a maximum load current of up to 6A. This makes it suitable for powering LED strips, relays, and other direct-current loads.

Adjustable timer and broad operating range

The on-board delay time is adjustable from 1 to 10 minutes to keep loads powered for the desired duration after triggering. It also features an operating temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius for resilient operation.
