Description
The PCF8574T I/O expansion board serves as a remote 8-bit I/O expander for the I2C bus. It allows students, makers, and hobbyists to expand their digital input and output capabilities using minimal microcontroller pins. By cascading multiple boards, you can scale your system up to 64 digital I/O lines.
I2C bus expansion
This module functions as a remote 8-bit parallel port expander using standard I2C communication. It provides an efficient solution for projects requiring additional digital pins.
Multi-board cascading
Up to 8 PCF8574 expansion boards can be connected simultaneously to the same I2C bus. This cascading design enables a total expansion of up to 64 I/O ports.
Flexible connections
The board is designed with an I2C pin header on one side and an I2C connector on the opposite side. This layout makes it simple to daisy-chain multiple modules and connect to your development system.
Operating voltage
