Competition eligibility
Legal for FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Eligibility is set by each season's game manual — check the current rules before you compete.
Omni wheels have rubber rollers around the perimeter, perpendicular to the drive-direction so your robot chassis can move laterally with ease. Each steel sleeved roller rides on a polished steel axle in order to minimize friction. When omni wheels are used in pairs, the profile becomes circular so that as the wheels rotate the load is transferred seamlessly from one roller to the next.
