This Nokia 5110 module delivers a compact display area with an integrated white backlight. The backlight activates when the LIGHT pin is linked to GND, ensuring clear visibility in different lighting conditions.
Power and logic levels
The module operates at a power supply voltage of 2.7V to 3.3V with a maximum backlight voltage of 3.3V. While data interface levels support 2.7V to 5V, using a 3.3V controller is recommended for optimal display clarity.
Pinout and interface
The module features an 8-pin interface including RST (reset), CE (chip select), DC (data/command select), DIN (serial data), CLK (serial clock), 3.3V (VCC), LIGHT (backlight control), and GND (power ground). The pinout is identical to standard blue board versions.
Assembly and setup note
If the screen appears loose after delivery, gently compress the LCD screen frame and PCB tighter to ensure solid electrical contact across the zebra connector.
