Description
This Nokia 5110 LCD module is a compact 84x48 dot matrix display featuring a vibrant blue backlight. It displays up to four lines of text or custom monochrome graphics using an efficient serial interface. Clear monochrome graphics
The 84x48 dot matrix screen comfortably displays up to 4 lines of characters. An integrated LCD controller/driver chip keeps the module compact while delivering crisp visuals with a blue backlight.
Serial interface and MCU compatibility
The module uses a serial interface requiring only 8 signal lines including power and ground, supporting transfer rates up to 4 Mbps for fast writes without waiting time. It supports various MCU types, such as SPI and MCS51 serial mode 0 of AVR.
Low power consumption
Operating at a standard working current under 200 microamps with a built-in power-down mode, this display is highly power-efficient. For optimal clarity, use a 3.3V controller and supply voltage.
Mounting and installation
The module includes metal hooks for easy attachment to printed circuit boards and features 2 mm installation holes for secure mounting in your project enclosures.
