Description
The MK2B heated bed provides an even heating platform designed to minimise warping when printing larger models. Featuring an FR4 PCB structure with solid copper layer design, it ensures consistent thermal performance across the print area. It is ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists building or upgrading RepRap, Prusa, and Mendel 3D printers.
Even heating and warping prevention
The heating element is positioned on the underside using long copper traces to distribute heat across the print area. A solid copper top surface helps keep the PCB flat, substantially reducing edge lifting and warping on large 3D prints.
Durable PCB construction
Built using standard 1.6 mm FR4 laminate, the board features two layers with 35 µm copper and copper-plated holes. The heating circuit maintains an operating resistance between 1 and 2 ohms.
Printer compatibility
Measuring 214 mm by 214 mm, this heated bed is 100% compatible with Prusa and Mendel 3D printer variants. It integrates smoothly with standard bed mount plates, boltable bushings, and belt hardware.
