Description
This GPIO expansion board is an adapter plate designed to break out all the interfaces of the micro:bit to standard 2.54mm pin headers. It allows all 21 GPIO pins to be easily routed to a breadboard for rapid circuit prototyping. It is well suited to students, hobbyists, and classroom STEM activities requiring tidy and straightforward breadboard experimentation.

The expansion adapter extracts all 21 micro:bit GPIO interfaces and arranges them for breadboard integration. This enables fast, solderless prototyping and clean component connections during experiments.
Interface and connectivity
The board features an edge slot to seat the micro:bit gold finger connector, routing all connections cleanly out to standard 2.54mm pin headers.
Dimensions and mounting
With a compact footprint of 75.96 x 40.35mm, the board includes 3mm fixing holes spaced at a 69 x 24mm pitch for stable mounting into custom enclosures or project bases.
