Description
This MAX7219 8x8 LED dot matrix display module provides a clear visual interface for graphics, digits, and custom animations. Operating at 5V, it drives a red common-cathode matrix using a straightforward serial interface that preserves microcontroller pins. It is well suited for learners, hobbyists, and classroom science or robotics projects.
Serial control and daisy chaining
The module is equipped with input pins on the left and output pins on the right, enabling you to control a single display or cascade multiple modules in series. It interfaces via standard 2.54mm pitch connections for VCC, GND, DIN, CS, and CLK.
Compact layout and mounting
Measuring 5 x 3.2 x 1.5 cm, the board includes four 3mm mounting holes designed for secure attachment with standard M3 hardware onto chassis and panels.
