Description
The LM35DZ temperature sensor module delivers a calibrated linear analogue output directly proportional to temperature in degrees Celsius. Operating across a wide 4–30V DC range with minimal power draw, it easily connects to standard analogue inputs. It is well suited to learners, hobbyists, and classroom robotics projects requiring reliable thermal sensing.
Linear analogue output
The onboard LM35 sensor provides a linear analogue output voltage with a scale factor of 10 mV per degree Celsius. This direct linear response simplifies data reading and processing in microcontroller code.
Operating range and power
The board features a wide working voltage range from DC 4V to 30V. It draws low power at less than 60 uA, reducing self-heating and conserving energy in embedded circuits.
Measurement performance and form factor
It measures temperatures from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius with a precision of 0.5 degrees Celsius. The compact PCB measures 28 mm long by 12 mm wide and 10 mm high for straightforward installation.
