L298 Dual H-Bridge DC Motor Driver Shield, 2A

This L298 dual H-bridge motor driver shield enables bidirectional drive and speed control for two DC motors or a single stepper motor. Designed for microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, it is an ideal solution for learners, makers and robotics enthusiasts. Dual motor drive capability

The module uses an L298 dual H-bridge driver to control up to two DC motors or a single two- or four-phase stepper motor. It supports PWM PLL mode for precise speed adjustment and uses pins D4 through D7 for direct motor control.

Power supply options

The board operates with a 5V logic supply and accommodates motor drive voltages from 6.5V to 12V via VIN, or 4.8V to 35V via PWRIN. When supplied with more than 7V, the onboard 5V terminal can act as an auxiliary 5V power source.

Connections and construction

Wiring is secured through standard 5.0mm pitch screw terminals for reliable power and motor lines. Measuring 68 x 53mm, the board includes front-row signal access and operates across temperatures from -25 to +130 degrees Celsius.
