Hardware decoding for multiple formats

Built around the YX5200-24SS core, this module features integrated hardware decoding for MP3, WAV and WMA files. This ensures stable, reliable playback without taxing your main microcontroller's processing power.

Direct TF card storage and USB access

The onboard TF card slot supports cards up to 32GB, allowing you to store extensive audio libraries directly on the module. A micro-USB interface makes it simple to connect to a computer to read the card contents and download new audio files.

Integrated audio amplifier and speaker output

An onboard audio amplifier chip provides 8x magnification, delivering up to 1.2W of output power when using an 8-ohm external speaker connected to the S-OUT interface. Please note that the module defaults to maximum volume on power-up, so it is recommended to turn down the volume before playback.

Serial control and physical buttons

You can easily control music playback using serial communication via the UART interface, or use the six onboard physical buttons for manual control and testing. A standard headphone jack is also included for quiet listening and quick debugging.
