Description
The Keyestudio Turbidity Sensor V1.0 is a practical water quality monitoring module designed for students, educators, and electronics hobbyists. It detects water clarity by measuring turbidity levels and translating them into readable voltage signals. Compatible with Arduino, this sensor is ideal for environmental science projects and automated water testing systems.
Dual signal output modes
The module features a built-in slide switch to easily toggle between analog and digital outputs. Slide to the A side to read analog voltage values for precise turbidity calculations, or slide to the D side to output a simple high or low digital signal.
Adjustable sensitivity potentiometer
An onboard blue potentiometer allows you to manually adjust the sensor's sensitivity. This makes it easy to calibrate the digital output threshold to suit your specific water testing environment.

Broad environmental applications
This sensor is ideal for monitoring water quality in rivers and streams, wastewater measurements, sediment transport research, and laboratory projects. It offers a hands-on way to study environmental science.

Waterproofing precautions for probe
Please note that only the transparent bottom part of the probe is waterproof and designed for immersion. The top of the probe must be kept completely dry to prevent damage to the circuitry.

Accurate turbidity detection range
The sensor offers a detection range of 0% to 3.5% (0 to 4550 NTU) with an error range of plus or minus 0.5% F*S. It converts the current signal into a voltage output for straightforward calibration.

Key technical specifications
Operating at DC 5V with a low current draw of approximately 11mA, this lightweight 18g module is highly efficient. It features an operating temperature range of -30 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius.
