The Keyestudio RJ11 RGB TCS34725 Color Sensor Module is a cost-effective, full-colour recognition sensor designed for Arduino-based STEM projects. It is ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to add precise colour-sensing capabilities to their robotics builds. Using optical sensing, it detects surface colours and outputs accurate RGB values for reliable colour management.
Accurate full-colour recognition
This cost-effective TCS34725 sensor detects the surface colour of an object through optical sensing and outputs corresponding RGB values. It allows your Arduino projects to recognise and restore almost any colour within the human visible spectrum.

Infrared shielding for precision
To prevent interference from surrounding light sources, the module features an integrated infrared light shielding plate on the bottom. This minimises the infrared spectrum element of incident light to ensure highly accurate colour management.

Built-in LED fill light
Four yellow highlight LEDs are positioned on the bottom of the sensor to provide essential fill light. This ensures the sensor can continue to operate normally and accurately even in low ambient light environments.

Simple RJ11 connection
Designed for easy integration, the module utilises a standard RJ11 telephone line interface to connect seamlessly with the EASY plug Control Board V2.0 and KS0240 control board. This solderless connection system is ideal for rapid prototyping in classrooms.

I2C communication interface
The sensor communicates using the standard I2C protocol, making it highly compatible with Arduino microcontrollers. It supports a clock frequency ranging from 0 to 400kHz for reliable data transmission.

Compact and efficient specifications
Operating at 3.3V to 5V DC with a low working current of 65uA, this lightweight 5.6g module has a detection distance of 3mm to 10mm. It measures just 40x20x19mm and operates reliably in temperatures from -30 to +70 degrees Celsius.
