The Keyestudio RJ11 EASY plug Line Tracking Sensor Module is an easy-to-use infrared detector designed to help autonomous robots follow paths by accurately distinguishing between black and white surfaces. Infrared surface detection

The sensor utilises the differing reflectivity of infrared light on different colours to detect lines. It converts the strength of the reflected infrared signal into a current signal to accurately tell white from black.
