Description

The Keyestudio NANO Shield with DC port is a dedicated expansion board designed to simplify sensor and module connections for your Arduino Nano 3.0. Ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists, this shield eliminates messy wiring by breaking out pins into convenient 3-pin interfaces and dedicated communication headers.

This shield extends the digital and analog ports of your NANO control board into standard 3-pin interfaces containing Ground, 5V, and Signal lines. This design makes connecting external sensors and modules straightforward and error-free.

Dedicated communication headers

The board breaks out essential I2C and serial communication pins into 2.54mm pitch female headers. This allows for quick and reliable connection to displays, sensors, and other communication peripherals.

Regulated dual-voltage power

With an external DC 7-12V input, the onboard L7805 regulator delivers a stable 5V output at up to 1.5A to power your external modules. Additionally, an AMS1117-3.3V chip steps down the voltage to provide a dedicated 3.3V rail.

Integrated power and control switches

An onboard self-locking power switch controls the external DC input, while a dedicated reset button allows you to restart your microcontroller easily. A signal indicator LED provides immediate visual feedback on the board's status.

Flexible prototyping pads

Two rows of 2.54mm pad holes are reserved on the side of the shield to lead out all external interfaces of the NANO control board. Four 3mm fixing holes are also provided to make mounting the shield to your chassis or project enclosure simple.

Compact and certified design

Measuring just 57.3 by 53.5mm, this compact shield operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. It features a maximum power rating of 7W and is fully RoHS compliant.
