Description

The Keyestudio Nano IO Shield is an expansion board designed to simplify prototyping with the Arduino Nano CH340. It is ideal for students, educators, and makers who want to avoid messy breadboard wiring when connecting multiple sensors and wireless modules. By breaking out pins and adding dedicated wireless headers, this shield streamlines your robotics and IoT projects.

Simplified sensor connections

This shield extends the digital and analogue pins of the Nano CH340 into a convenient 3-pin format featuring ground, 5V, and signal lines. This makes it incredibly easy to hook up multiple sensor modules and external components during experiments.

Simplified sensor connections

Dedicated wireless headers

The expansion board features built-in headers for both a Bluetooth Bee wireless module and an NRF24L01 wireless transceiver. This allows you to easily add wireless communication capabilities to your Arduino projects.

Dedicated wireless headers

External power input

An onboard black DC jack allows you to supply stable external power of DC 7-12V directly to your Nano CH340. This is particularly useful when running power-hungry components like servos and motors that USB power cannot support.

External power input

Fourteen digital breakout pins

The shield extends 14 digital pins into 3-pin headers, providing dedicated ground and 5V lines for each. This layout simplifies the wiring of digital sensors, buttons, and actuators.

Fourteen digital breakout pins

Eight analogue breakout pins

Eight analogue pins are broken out into the same 3-pin format, allowing for direct connection to analogue sensors. This eliminates the need for external power distribution boards in your projects.

Eight analogue breakout pins

Integrated communication interfaces

Dedicated pins for serial and I2C communication are broken out on the shield. This allows you to easily connect standard I2C screens, sensors, and other serial devices.
