Keyestudio Microphone Sound Module For BBC micro:bit

The Keyestudio Microphone Sound Module is an analogue sound detection sensor designed specifically for the BBC micro:bit. It is an ideal tool for South African students, educators, and makers looking to introduce sound-activated triggers or volume monitoring to their coding projects.

Analogue sound detection

This module uses an onboard microphone head to capture ambient sound and convert it into a voltage signal. By reading the analogue value from the signal pin, your micro:bit can easily determine the surrounding sound volume.

Adjustable signal amplification

An integrated LM358D chip amplifies the captured audio signal to ensure stable and usable readings. You can manually adjust the amplification sensitivity using the onboard potentiometer to match your environment.

Crocodile clip connections
