The Keyestudio Micro bit Relay Breakout Board is an expansion shield designed to easily connect and control high-current loads using your BBC micro:bit. It is perfect for students, makers, and hobbyists looking to build smart home automation projects or learn about physical computing.
Easy micro:bit integration
Simply slot your BBC micro:bit directly into the breakout board's edge connector. Power the shield with a DC 5V input on the VIN and GND ports to get started.

Four-channel control interface
The board features an integrated 4-way 5V relay module to control up to four separate external circuits. The relays are active HIGH, allowing you to switch them on or off by setting the control pins to high or low states.

Dedicated digital pin mapping
The control terminals for the four relays are hardwired directly to the P4, P3, P7, and P6 pins of the micro:bit. This makes writing control code straightforward using standard digital write blocks or code.

Graphical and text programming support
The board works seamlessly with Microsoft's PXT graphical programming interface. You can easily program your setups on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and other operating systems without downloading an external compiler.

Safe switching contact capacity
Each relay supports a contact capacity of up to AC 120V at 3A or DC 24V at 3A. This provides ample capacity for safely switching small appliances, lights, and other low-power electronics.
