The module features six connection rings, including two ground rings, two 3V power rings, and two signal rings mapped to pins 0, 1, and 2. This layout allows for quick, solderless hookups to your micro:bit using standard crocodile clip lines.

Reliable digital touch sensing

Utilising a specialised touch detection IC, this module replaces mechanical buttons with a variable area key that outputs a clean digital signal. It offers low power consumption and operates reliably across a wide voltage range.

Upon powering up, the module performs a quick 0.5-second self-calibration during which it should not be touched. If left untouched, it automatically recalibrates every 4.0 seconds to maintain optimal sensitivity.
