Description

The Keyestudio MEGA 2560 PRO Development Board offers the full power and extensive pinout of a standard Mega 2560 in a highly compact, space-saving footprint. It is ideal for advanced makers, robotics students, and hobbyists who need numerous input/output pins for complex projects but are limited by physical space.

While a standard Mega 2560 board can be too bulky for tight DIY enclosures, this Pro version delivers the exact same functionality in a significantly smaller form factor. It uses the ATMEGA2560-16AU processor core and breaks out all ports to standard 2.54mm pitch headers.

Comprehensive digital and analogue I/O

The board features 54 digital input/output pins, of which 15 can be configured as PWM outputs for motor and servo control. Additionally, it provides 16 analogue inputs to accommodate a wide array of sensors.

Onboard USB and serial communication

Equipped with a CH340G USB-to-serial chip and four hardware serial ports, this board simplifies communication with computers and other peripherals. It also includes a built-in ICSP header for advanced programming.

Pre-burnt bootloader for quick setup

The ATMEGA2560-16AU chip comes with its firmware pre-burnt before delivery, meaning you do not need to flash it yourself. You can plug it in and start programming immediately using standard Arduino software.

Flexible power supply options

Power can be supplied directly through the USB connection, via the 5V and GND pins (regulated DC 5V), or through the Vin and GND pins which accept a recommended input voltage of DC 7V to 12V.

Robust memory and clock speed

With 256 KB of flash memory, 8 KB of SRAM, and 4 KB of EEPROM, this board handles complex programs with ease. It operates at a clock speed of 16 MHz and includes a built-in LED on pin D13.
