Description

The Keyestudio MAX6675 K-Thermocouple-to-Digital Converter module is a precise temperature sensing solution designed for Arduino projects. It is ideal for students, makers, and educators looking to measure extreme temperatures in DIY projects, scientific experiments, or industrial prototypes.

High-precision signal conversion

This module independently handles signal amplification, cold-junction compensation, linearisation, and A/D conversion. It digitalises the signal from a type-K thermocouple and outputs it in a 12-bit resolution via a simple SPI-compatible serial interface.

High-precision signal conversion

Wide temperature measuring range

The converter resolves temperatures to 0.25 degrees Celsius, allowing for highly accurate readings from 0 up to +1023.75 degrees Celsius. This wide range makes it suitable for high-temperature monitoring applications.

Wide temperature measuring range

Integrated cold-junction compensation

Featuring an integrated cold-junction compensation circuit, the module automatically adjusts for ambient temperature variations. This ensures reliable and consistent readings without requiring external calibration.

Integrated cold-junction compensation

Open thermocouple detection and protection

The board includes open thermocouple detection to alert you if the sensor becomes disconnected or fails. It also features a high impedance differential input and built-in ESD protection.

Open thermocouple detection and protection

Low power 5V operation

Operating at a standard working voltage of 5V, this module features low power consumption. The board operates reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 80 degrees Celsius.
