Reliable NEO-6M satellite tracking

Built around the NEO-6M-0-001 module, this shield delivers accurate outdoor positioning within a few meters as well as highly precise time data. Please note that this expansion board requires an outdoor line of sight and cannot be used for indoor positioning.

Flexible jumper-configured serial communication

You can easily connect the TxD and RxD pins to your choice of Arduino digital pins from D0 to D8 using the onboard jumper caps. By default, the shield is configured with jumper caps set to D7 for RX and D6 for TX.

High-gain active antenna included

The shield comes complete with an external active GPS antenna measuring 28mm by 28mm by 7mm with a 142mm lead. This antenna ensures optimal signal reception for outdoor navigation, fleet management, and personal tracking applications.

Onboard SD card socket

An integrated SD card slot allows you to log GPS coordinates, timestamps, and other sensor data directly to local storage. This makes the shield perfect for mobile data logging projects where wireless transmission is not available.
