Solderless RJ11 connection system

The shield features 10 EASY plug RJ11 6P6C interfaces that allow you to connect compatible sensors and modules using simple telephone-style cables. This plug-and-play design eliminates the risk of incorrect wiring or reverse connections, protecting your components from damage.

Built-in programmable components

To expand your project possibilities right out of the box, the board includes four WS2812 RGB LEDs controlled by pin P9 and a buzzer controlled by pin P0. It also features two DIP switches for quick configuration adjustments.

Flexible power management

The board accepts a DC 6-10V input through a 2.0mm anti-reverse port, delivering an output current of up to 1.5A. A dedicated power switch lets you safely turn your project on and off, while a voltmeter switch toggles the EASY plug voltage between 3.3V and 5V.

Golden finger edge connector

Simply slot your micro:bit V1.1 board directly into the shield to interface with its pins. In addition to the RJ11 ports, the golden finger interface provides direct access to the micro:bit's edge connector pins for versatile prototyping.
