The Keyestudio EASY Plug MQ-135 Air Quality Sensor is a gas detection module designed for students, educators, and makers building environmental monitoring projects. It offers a simple way to detect harmful gases when paired with an EASY plug control board.

Conductivity-based gas detection

The sensor uses a tin dioxide semiconductor material which has low electrical conductivity in clean air. When pollutants are present, the conductivity increases in proportion to the pollution level, which is then converted into an output signal.

Adjustable sensitivity potentiometer

You can manually rotate the onboard potentiometer to adjust the sensor's sensitivity. This allows you to calibrate the load resistance for your specific testing environment.

Multi-gas detection capabilities

The MQ-135 sensor is highly sensitive to a variety of harmful substances, including ammonia, sulfide, benzene vapor, methylbenzene, hydrogen, and smoke. This makes it an excellent choice for comprehensive air quality monitoring.
