Built around the genuine DS18B20 sensor chip, this probe utilises a "One Line Bus" digital transmission system. This single-wire communication minimises interference and ensures robust data transmission over longer distances.

Rugged waterproof construction

The sensor is housed in a premium stainless steel tube that is rustproof, damp-proof, and waterproof. Internal heat-shrink tubing isolates each pin to prevent short circuits, whilst a high thermal conductivity rubber strip seals the assembly to maintain high sensitivity.

Wide measurement range

This probe measures temperatures from -55 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius, with a high accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 degrees Celsius within the -10 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius range. Please note that the 1-metre lead wire itself can withstand temperatures up to 85 degrees Celsius.
