The Keyestudio DIY 4-DOF Robot Kit Frog Robot is an interactive, hands-on introduction to robotics designed for students, educators, and hobbyists. Powered by the Keyestudio Nano CH340, this beginner-friendly kit requires no prior technical experience to assemble and programme.

Beginner-friendly graphical programming

The robot is compatible with both the open-source Arduino platform and Mixly Blocks graphical coding. This allows users to easily programme the robot to walk, dance, and follow or avoid obstacles.

Ultrasonic obstacle avoidance

An onboard ultrasonic module measures the distance to obstacles directly in front of the robot. This data allows the robot to calculate distances and execute obstacle-avoidance manoeuvres.

Bluetooth app control

The kit features an HM-10 Bluetooth module that pairs with mobile devices. A companion mobile application is available for both iOS and Android systems to navigate the frog robot wirelessly.

Versatile Nano expansion shield

The included Nano shield breaks out 12 digital pins and 8 analog pins into 3-pin headers for easy sensor connections. It also includes an I2C communication pin for connecting external I2C modules.

Flexible input voltage

The system supports a DC input voltage range of 7V to 12V. This ensures adequate power distribution to the microcontroller, servos, and any added sensor expansions.
