Description

The Keyestudio Collision Sensor Module is a digital on-off switch designed for introductory electronics and robotics education. It is ideal for students, hobbyists, and educators who want to add physical impact detection to their projects. This easy-to-use module helps makers realise interactive control over lights, buzzers, and robotic movements.

Digital on-off input control

This collision sensor acts as an electronic switch, serving as a fundamental digital input module for beginners. Through simple programming, you can utilise it to control external light and sound devices, or to manage menu selections on an LCD display.

Mobile robot collision detection

Connect the module to a sensor shield using a standard 3P sensor cable to easily mount it onto a 4WD alloy mobile robot platform. This enables your mobile projects to efficiently detect physical impacts and navigate around obstacles.

Simple collision flasher project

Create a quick collision flasher by connecting the sensor to pin 3 and linking it to the built-in LED on interface 13 of your development board. When the sensor detects an impact, the onboard LED and the module LED will light up simultaneously.

Clear signal output behaviour

The module outputs a low-level signal when a collision occurs at the front, and a high-level signal under normal conditions. An onboard switch indicator light turns on during a collision and switches off when there is no contact.

Convenient M3 mounting hole

The board features a reserved M3 mounting hole, allowing for secure and straightforward fixation onto a smart car chassis. This ensures the sensor remains firmly in place during active mobile testing.
