Description

The Keyestudio Analogue Piezoelectric Ceramic Vibration Sensor is a highly sensitive detection module designed for students, educators, and hobbyists working with Arduino microcontrollers. By converting mechanical vibration into analogue electrical signals, this sensor allows your projects to perceive even weak physical impacts. It is ideal for creating interactive installations, such as DIY electronic drums or security alarm systems.

Piezoelectric signal generation

This sensor utilises the anti-transformation process of a piezoelectric ceramic chip to generate electrical signals. When the ceramic chip vibrates, the sensor signal terminal generates a corresponding electrical output.

Analogue signal output

The module outputs a continuous analogue signal that corresponds directly to the vibration intensity. This allows for precise calibration and sensitivity adjustments within your software.

Easy Arduino integration

The sensor can be used with an Arduino-dedicated sensor shield to perceive weak vibration signals. Connecting the analogue voltage ceramic vibration sensor to an Arduino UNO's analogue port A0 allows you to read varying vibration degrees.

Interactive project applications

By observing the serial port output under different vibration levels, you can realise interactive projects. This makes the sensor highly suitable for applications like electronic drum kits.

Robust operating specifications

The sensor operates reliably on a supply voltage of 3.3V to 5V. It is designed to function within a working temperature range of -10 degrees Celsius to +70 degrees Celsius.
