Description

The Keyestudio Advanced Starter Learning Kit is a comprehensive educational package designed for students, educators, and hobbyists looking to master electronics and coding. Centred around the robust REV4 microcontroller board, this kit provides the essential hardware and tutorial support needed to start building interactive projects. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to the versatile world of Arduino-based physical computing.

The REV4 microcontroller board

This kit features the Keyestudio REV4 microcontroller board, which is based on the ATmega328 processor. It includes a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button to support all your project needs.

The REV4 microcontroller board

Flexible power and connectivity

Getting started is simple; just connect the board to your computer using a USB cable, or power it externally with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery. The board operates at a working voltage of +5V and supports a recommended external input voltage of +7V to +12V.

Flexible power and connectivity

Upgraded USB-to-serial converter

Unlike older boards that rely on the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip, the REV4 uses an Atmega16U2 chip programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. This ensures reliable communication with your programming environment.

Upgraded USB-to-serial converter

Versatile input and output pins

The board offers 14 digital input/output pins, 6 of which can be configured as PWM outputs for controlling motors or dimming LEDs. Additionally, 6 analog inputs allow you to read data from a wide variety of sensors.

Versatile input and output pins

High-performance AVR core

Powered by the AVRmega328P-PU microcontroller core, the board delivers a processing speed of 20MIPS. It operates at a clock frequency of 16MHz to handle your code execution efficiently.
