Description
The Keyestudio Advanced Starter Learning Kit is an educational package designed for students, educators, and electronics hobbyists to learn coding and robotics. Based around a versatile microcontroller board, this kit provides the essential components and tutorials needed to start building interactive projects. It is ideal for those looking to develop practical skills in electronics and programming.
Microcontroller board architecture
The board is based on the ATmega328 microcontroller, featuring 14 digital input/output pins, 6 analogue inputs, and a 16 MHz ceramic resonator. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller by simply connecting it to a computer via USB or powering it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery.

Upgraded USB interface
This board differs from earlier versions by replacing the standard FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip with an Atmega16U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. This ensures reliable communication and easy connection to your computer.

Flexible power options
The board operates on a working voltage of +5V and supports an external input voltage recommended between +7V and +12V. It can handle extreme external input voltages ranging from +6V to +20V safely.

Digital and analogue interfaces
With 14 digital signal input/output interfaces, including 6 PWM inputs, and 6 analogue signal input interfaces, you have ample connectivity for sensors and actuators. The DC input/output interface current is rated at 40mA.

Memory and storage capacity
The microcontroller features 32KB of flash memory, with 2KB reserved for the bootloader. It also includes 512 bytes of EEPROM storage capacity for non-volatile data retention.

High processing performance
Powered by the AVRmega328P-PU microcontroller core, the board delivers a processing speed of 20MIPS at a clock frequency of 16MHz. This provides responsive performance for your educational and robotics projects.
