The keyestudio ACS712-5A Current Sensor is a compact breakout board designed to measure electrical current in your circuits. Ideal for Arduino hobbyists, students, and makers, this module helps you monitor power consumption and build smart energy projects.
Hall effect current sensing
This module contains an ACS712ELC-5B chip that measures current intensity based on the Hall Effect. You should protect the sensor from external magnetic fields during operation to ensure accurate measurements.
Bidirectional five amp detection
The sensor is capable of detecting up to 5A of both positive and negative current. This makes it highly versatile for monitoring bidirectional current flow in your circuits.
Analogue voltage output scaling
The module provides an analogue output corresponding to the measured current at 185mV/A. When there is no current flowing, the output voltage remains at VCC/2.
Onboard power indicator
Designed for a 5V power supply, this module includes an onboard power indicator. This LED allows you to easily verify that the board is powered up and active.
Dedicated wiki tutorials
