Kemo Electronic M152 12V Rain Sensor Module with Relay

The Kemo Electronic M152 is an automated 12V DC rain sensor module designed to trigger an integrated relay when it detects rain, slush, snow, or hail. It features an integrated heating function to prevent freezing and ensure rapid drying after rainfall. This module is ideal for makers and hobbyists building automated skylight closures, motorised blinds, or weather alert systems.

Automated detection and relay switching

When precipitation bridges the sensor plate, the onboard relay engages and remains active for as long as the surface stays wet. The relay contacts support loads up to 25V 2A, making it suitable for triggering external alarms or control circuits.

Self-heating and rugged construction

The sensor features a gold-plated active surface measuring 29 x 30 mm that automatically heats upon contact with rain to prevent wetting and freezing. The entire module is waterproof-encapsulated for reliable outdoor deployment.

Visual status indication

Two built-in LEDs provide clear visual feedback during operation. One LED confirms that the module is powered and functional, while the second indicates that rain is detected and the relay is switched on.
