Description
This 50 mm wide high-temperature polyimide film tape, also known as Kapton tape, is designed for thermal resistance and electrical insulation. It is an essential workshop consumable for heated 3D printer beds, electronics masking, and high-heat insulation. Thermal and electrical resistance
Manufactured from amber polyimide film, this heat-resistant tape is suitable for high-temperature applications such as heated print beds and soldering insulation.
Mechanical and adhesive performance
The tape measures 0.055 mm in thickness with an elongation of 50 percent and a tensile strength of at least 42 N per 25 mm. It features a 24# tack rating with a peel strength of at least 26 N per 25 mm and 48-hour adhesive strength.
Format and sizing
Supplied in a 50 mm width on a 33 m roll, this tape provides ample surface coverage for 3D printing and electronic assembly tasks.
