Description
This 5 mm heat-resistant polyimide film tape, also known as Kapton tape, is designed for thermal and electrical insulation tasks. It provides reliable surface protection during soldering, heat masking, and 3D printing bed preparation. Ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists working on electronics and 3D printing projects.
High temperature polyimide film
Constructed from 0.055 mm thick amber polyimide film, this tape offers excellent resistance to high temperatures. It is suitable for protecting sensitive parts during thermal processes.
Strong mechanical adhesion
The tape features an elongation of 50%, a tensile strength of at least 42 N/25 mm, and a peel strength of at least 26 N/25 mm. It provides consistent hold with 24# tack and 48H adhesive strength.
Typical applications
Widely used as a 3D printer bed surface covering and for general high-temperature masking in electronics assembly.
