Description
This 10 000 W AC voltage regulator and speed controller uses a heavy-duty bidirectional thyristor to manage high-power electrical loads. It allows makers and workshop hobbyists to smoothly adjust output voltage for heating elements, incandescent lighting, and compatible AC motor speeds. The module regulates output from approximately 20 V up to 220 V AC for high-power project requirements.
High-power thyristor control
Featuring a bidirectional high-power thyristor rated up to a 100 A limit current, this controller effectively handles peak loads and prevents over-current issues when heating elements have low cold resistance.
Wide application range
Suitable for temperature regulation on electric furnaces, water heaters, and electric irons, as well as light dimming and small motor speed control up to a maximum resistive load of 10 000 W.
Load and safety limitations
This controller is not designed to replace vehicle battery chargers and cannot power appliances with switching power supplies, induction cookers, or energy-saving lamps.
